Efficiency of royal Jelly on in vitro fertilization in local Iraqi ewes

This study was designed to investigate the effect of addition several concentrations royal jelly media used in vitro maturation process Iraqi sheep. The ovary brought from Al-Shulla slaughterhouse and transferred obstetric laboratory at College Veterinary Medicine University Baghdad by a thermal insulating box containing physiological solution with antibiotic penicillin temperature 30-38°C. In laboratory, ovaries were washed neutral buffer then oocytes collected two different methods slicing ovaryor follicle aspiration. classification into four groups depending on layers cumulus cells surrounding oocytes, as well homogenous cytoplasm. Oocytes that are completely or partially surrounded homogeneous cytoplasm considered normal but denuded heterogeneous abnormal discarded. Normal divided randomly maturation; first group matured TCM alone control group.
